topic Using Sky Stream with a TP Link mesh in Sky Stream

Hi I have Sky fibre broadband but have poor WiFi in parts of the house so use a TP link mesh to boost my signal. I recently changed from Sky Q to Stream, getting two pucks. One I connected to the mesh. I received an email today to say I am using the puck outside of my registered address and therefore was being levied an additional monthly charge. Earlier posts have said that there are no issues with using a TP Link mesh, but does that relate to linking non Sky equipment?
