Playlists not saving progress

I'm new to Sky Stream and I've added a few TV programmes to my Playlist. None of them are saving my watch progress. I have two issues:

I watched half of S1 E1 of The Wargame last night and it did save my progress, as it said "Resume S1 E1" after I came out of the episode. However, today when I go into my playlist it just says "Play S1 E1" as if I'd never watched anything.

I also watched half an episode of something on Apple TV which I'd also got on my playlist. That didn't show any progress in my playlist last night or today. But when I go into the Apple TV app it does show my progress. So it hasn't 'lost' progress, it's just not showing it in my playlist.

Am I doing something wrong - eg something I need to do in settings? Presumably my progress is always meant to show in my Sky playlist assuming I started watching from the playlist?
