topic Sky Stream Puck in Sky Stream

I have a new (2 weeks) sky stream puck, with sky broadband. The puck keeps freezing, whether it is using apps, or just watching tv channels live. The picture freezes, I can press home, but then every time I go back to a tv channel the screen is blank, with just message saying 'please wait for your programme to load'. This happens on any channel, BBC, ITV, or any Sky Channel. This is happening 3 to 4 times an eveining.

Hi @St141

This is usually a sign of poor broadband speed / network connectivity

Go to netflix > profile pic > get help? > Connectivity check. Run it a few times and post the results.

You may have more stability using ethernet and turning WiFi off in the pucks settings or adjusting the channel your router is using.

MikeAlanR

Hi Mike, this is for response; the puck is connected via Ethernet, running sky broadband. Sky tells me speeds are 150mbs, but when I run a Netflix speed check, that says 89mbs, still fast enough to stream HD.
