Discovery Plus update message

We have two Sky Stream pucks. Both purchased at the same time.

For the last two weeks or so one of the devices keeps interrupts the current program and displays a splash screen for a Discovery Plus update. There is an Update button but it does nothing .

I have powered cycled the puck. I have gone to Settings, Restart device and Srttings, Update apps.

None of this has had any effect.

Incidentally the app on my Android phone also requested an update but that worked fine. Not sure if relevant.

Hasn't Discovery+ been merged into HBO Max?

Some of it duplicated aswell as being on Discovery Pay Channels

If wasn't for free to air content which doesn't require any subscription on other devices anyway , I question whether the app would still exist

Why they now premiere new Investigation Discovery series from the US (or anything new true crime) on free to air Quest Red instead of Investigation Discovery UK channel remains a mystery , i wonder if Quest Red on Sky will be promoted ahead of Investigation Discovery like Virgin did in January?

Have you tried reseting the app in settings?

It is still separate apart in sky Stream which as far as I know cannot be uninstall or disabled
