topic Netflix black screen during streaming in Sky Stream

Recently moved over from Virgin to Sky Stream and have noticed when watching Netflix via the Sky Stream box it constantly flickers to a black screen, I get the "Dolby Vision" logo at the top right and then it resumes streaming. This is very annoying when trying to watch Netflix content.

Netflix works fine when watching from the native TV app and worked fine on Virgin Media box. Is there a known issue with this?

Have you tried a refresh of apps within the Sky Stream settings?

Press Home on your Sky remote, then highlight Settings.

Press System management, then Resets and updates, and finally Refresh apps.

You'll see a message that says, 'Your apps are being refreshed'.

Press Dismiss to return to normal viewing.

If you have been offered it with a recent Sky OS UI update, you can now perform multiple functions with apps.

Press Home on your Sky remote, then highlight Settings.

Press System management

Select any of the following;

Update all apps; this will update all apps on your device to the latest version and download any newly available apps.

Close apps; this will close all apps that are currently running in the background.

Reinstall apps; this offers you the ability to reinstall one of your apps on your device with any avaialble updates. you may need to sign in again after this reinstalling.
