Aidwn

Welcome to the forum

We are all fellow customers on here like yourself

Sounds like poor wifi signal that is causing this, if you can connect the puck to your hub/ router with an ethernet cable it is more stable than WiFi, also as sky recommend a minimum of 25mps for hd channels and 35mps uhd channels. Open Netflix go to help open that and open check your network to see what speed your puck is getting, and remember that your broadband speed is what you get to the hub/ router not to the devices that you have connected. The more devices that you have connected the weaker the signal is to each one. And if you live in an old house with brick interior walls this can effect your wifi signal. You may need to call sky and ask for a wifi booster. Hope this helps you

@Aidwn wrote:
Every programme freezing for seconds all the time thinking of getting rid of sky stream done all the checks useless

You say you have tried all the checks, but not what they are or what you have tried.

Some guidance for you that may help.

Having a good local network is a key factor for having a reliable experience with Sky Stream or the pucks can also suffer from some local interference.

Best way to test is via a network speed test on your Pucks.
Launch Netflix on your pucks (you do not need to be logged into it, if you do not use netflix) and scroll down the left menu to Get help.
Choose Check Network.
Would suggest running the test several times, over say a half hour period during tests.
What is your speed for each puck?

Also, the pucks could be suffering from interference, more often seen as an intermittent blip.
Not always a cure, but the following may help to resolve;
Make sure you have a good 6-8 inches free on all sides of the puck.
Do not stack the puck on top of any other device.
Make sure the puck is in the open, not tucked away in a cabinet or sat directly behind the TV.
Make sure you have no other devices that can cause interference closeby, like cordless phones, radiators, baby monitors, smart meter in home displays, microwaves and the like.

Plus, change both your pucks to following recommended settings set in Settings>
Set Network standby mode to ON.
Turn wifi OFF under Network if connected via ethernet.
