Wifi networks are very prone to network interference from numerous local environmental factors, which does mean the signal won't be strong enough through every inch of a property. Whilst other devices may not suffer these problems on your Wifi network they work differently as they are local devices which plenty of store space which allows for content to be buffered locally, the sky streaming stream works mainly as a remote system, where everything is actually run from Sky's servers, there is very little local buffering and the device requires a constant connection to Sky's servers ( which means that numerous small network dropouts will typically cause the puck issues).

The other thing to try is disabling the Wifi on the puck and connecting via an ethernet cable to your router ( or if this isn't practical use powerline adapters and to connect the puck via ethernet instead).

It's being bounced between WiFi bands by the hub.

Please extend my DHCP lease time and help me set a static IP for the puck."
