HBO app crashes at launch

Hi everyone,

I’m having trouble with the HBO Max app on my Sky Stream Puck. It won’t load at all. It just hangs or fails to open.

I’ve already tried a full power cycle of the puck, restarted the Sky router, checked for software updates, and refreshed the apps, but nothing has fixed it. All my other apps are working fine.

Has anyone else had this issue recently on Sky Stream, and is there anything else I can try?

My HBO app, on Sky Stream, crashes on a regular basis, no problems with any other app, really frustrating

I am also have this problem. It loads for a few minutes then crashes with a "waiting for programme to load" message . Also done a full reset, updated software etc

I'm also having this problem. Trying to start HBO Max app (which works fine on my laptop) but on Sky won't let me get past the first profile screen. I then tried to watch House of the Dragon via Sky Atlantic instead and received an error message too. About to give up and watch it on my laptop 😞

I get this ocassionally but I tend to watch HBO via an Apple TV with no problems. Does your TV have the HBO Max app you could try that.
