Some movies being shown in " letterbox" style instead of full screen in Sky cinema,Disney + and Netflix. Anyone one else with the problem or solution?

It's not a problem. It's the correct way to present movies in their original aspect ratio. It's no longer the 1980s when studios released dreadful 'pan and scan' full screen versions of their movies on VHS, cropping out half the image.
Im afraid you'll have to learn to love the letterbox if you want to enjoy movies in this decade.

Hear hear, well said. I personally used to seek out letterboxed versions of movies to watch on my Sony 14" portable in the 1990s! And with the advent of DVDs last century, finally I could enjoy all movies as intended. It took the extra push of widescreen broadcasting to get the broadcasters on board, and for a while some of them cropped 2.35:1 moves down to 16:9 and I worried we'd have to start the campaign all over again! Thankfully now, it's almost a 100% coverage of "correct aspect ratio" from the broadasters and streamers.

We've even got TV dramas, not in any way shot on film, using ratios wider than 16:9 for dramatic effect, as people associate a wider image with higher quality. Some of them use it for "hints" too - the excellent Westworld TV series did this.
