Sky Stream puc is connected to ethernet 250 down 25 up, always pretty much stable but the puc does lag sometimes only thing that seems to fix it is unplugging and plugging it back in at the mains, is this a common problem with the puc or do i have a issue with mine.

Hi @Beatsattack

You need to define "lag". Do you mean picture and sound out of sync? Etc etc?

What speed is your puck getting (you can check this in netflix > profile pic > get help > connectivity check).

I very rarely have to reboot my pucks or glass units.

MikeAlanR

@Beatsattack wrote:

When It does start doing it happens on all channels

Not a lot you can do other than reboot your router, make your home network as stable as possible and hope you're connected to a less-congested Sky server...

Sky Stream often requires a fair amount of troubleshooting from the customer to get it to function well. Some succeed, some don't. It's not a plug it in and everyone gets the same service kind of thing, there are simply too many variables outside Sky's control. Some customers get lucky and it works well straight out of the box, others don't and find themselves in a world of frustration.

Personally, I got fed up with the issues and got rid of it. Sky content from the NOW app on a dedicated streaming device works much more reliably for me.
