topic Sky puk in Sky Stream

My apps aren't loading properly using the sky puk. They'll load but won't show the program I've selected. All I get is a black screen with the moving circle. When I go out of apps and load a tv station ie BBC 1 the screen freezes and I get problem loading program. I phoned sky about a problem last week, where I 1st turn on puk I get no sound on station so I have to turn it off and in again. The guy on the phone got me to disconnect power and go through other stuff. I've even reset apps, reset boxes and still the same faults. Have they given me a dodgy box? (pun intended)

How is your puck connecting over WiFi or Ethernet? It sounds like a week internet connection but it could be a faulty puck.

Sky stream requires a strong stable connection or you are just not going to receive the service you expect.

is your puck close to your router and does the router have clear sight with the puck as this will have an effect on WiFi signal.

Often your type of issue is that the puck is not getting a reliable wifi or ethernet signal from your local network.

This is a requirement for having a reliable experience with Sky Glass/Stream.

Can you do a network speed test on each of your Pucks.
Launch Netflix on your pucks (you do not need to be logged into it, if you do not use netflix) and scroll down the left menu to Get help.
Choose Check Network.
Would suggest running the test a few times, say over a half hour period.
What is your speed?
