Thanks for escalating however I haven't heard anything which is unsurprising as skys customer service is shocking. I'm on the 31 day rolling contract so I might just send it back

@robcole2026 While you are waiting, have you tried an App refresh? If not go to Settings, System management, Resets & updates and select App refresh. This will take a few minutes and then will automatically return you to the Home page. Also just to be sure go back in exactly as above but this time select Restart. Again this takes several minutes and will return you to the Home Screen when finished.

I'm more concerned about the remote working one minute & not the next having to restart the puc to get the remote to work & no it's not the batteries

Just a quick update for anyone who may be interested. After a couple of days go back & forth I'm being sent a new remote control. Although I still haven't got to the bottom of why when I log into an app like BBCiPlayer the next day I'm logged out. All the apps & the remote started playing up at the same time which made me ask if there had been a software update

There has been no Sky OS update.

Software and UI updates roll out regularly, between my Pucks, Glass 2 and Glass Air all are on different software and UI versions none are indicating the issues you have.

New remote arrived today seems better quality with a rubberised feel. Paired instantly & seems to function quicker
