Hi, i am looking to sign up to Sky broadband and TV. I want to keep my original broadband contract and have sky broadband for work.

The only way I can sign up online is to put in my current provider and switch.

Please advise (I am also using a "refer a friend" link sent to me by a friend.)

Not for business, just to be on a different broadband when I am working from home.

I dont want to remove my current BB as it is part of a bundle so the deal won't be so good.

@CEstes You should be able to do it but you need to make sky aware that you need a brand new connection and number not a transfer, and I think the only way to do this is by phone as online is setup for transferring existing connections only

this is assuming of course that sky is not your existing provider

to add to what @Mark39 posted whilst customers are free to use sky domestic services for wfh purposes their is no extra or quicker support for those choosing it to wfh as that is covered by sky for business

@CEstes see below I've highlighted your best option in bold

These are the current methods for contacting Sky…

▪️call by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky Talk landline or a Sky mobile.

Calls to Sky will start automated which may offer you the online help route (see below) or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.

Note: if your services are restricted due to a missed payment phone contact is unlikely to work.

▪️online help via this link
https://www.sky.com/help
If necessary a number may be visible at the end of the correct help flow.

▪️ Sky Assistant is also available at the top of sky.com/help for most service issues and gives you 24/7 help and a quick response. It will provide you with multiple choice options based on your problem and will provide troubleshooting steps to fix any service issues.

▪️Social Media You can also get in touch with Sky via the messaging services on: Facebook or Instagram (links at the bottom of the forum page).

Note If you’re in the ROI make sure the flag in the bottom right of the link is showing the correct flag and change if required.
