Run a network check from the get help menu on the Netflix app to find out. You need a stable minimum of 25Mbps but preferably a lot more.

Are you connecting via WiFi or ethernet cable?

If on ethernet turn of WiFi in the puck settings menu.

The puck does need a stable WiFi connection but will quite happily run HD content with 8 Mbps of bandwidth.

Placement is not crucial if on ethernet, but if using WiFi then try to place it with minimal devices or walls/floors between it and the router.

Best to report what the Netflix network check reports before doing anything else.
