It even includes HBO Max content in UHD with HDR & Atmos. I get Netflix Premium free as part of my EE SIM and get discounted annual Disney+ Premium with cashback.

This suits us much better as a household and means we're only paying for content we actually want to watch on hardware that we own.

It's different for every household of course, and for many the appeal of SkyOS is the simplicity of having everything there with one bill. Whether or not it would be cheaper to go independent depends entirely on what you watch. You pay for convenience with Sky and you need to work out how much value you place on that, versus what value you give to the content you actually watch.

With most sky content now moved over to HBO Max, if you don't subscribe to sports/movies, is there any point in paying extra for UHD/Atmos.

It's a shame this doesn't carry over into the individual apps, and I question what the point of running these through sky stream is if you need to upgrade everything individually.

I'm questioning if there's actually in value in keeping sky stream or just taking out the individual subs.

Hi @User8829345 I tend to agree with you. I cancelled UHD ages ago as I find my TV upscales so well it seemed to be a waste of money to continue with the UHD subscription.

Most Sky Atlantic content, but that was never anywhere near a majority of what was being carried on the Sky-branded channels. Obviously if much of what was being viewed by a subscriber was on Atlantic then the impact is much more significant.

Stream provides a live numbered-channel EPG: if live television isn't being consumed at an address then its value is obviously diminished.

I'd argue it's most Sky Comedy content than Sky Atlantic.

Only 1 of 5 series that air on Sky Atlantic in April are on HBO Max and Ponies in May is from NBCU

They really should add more NBCU back catalogue to Sky One, Sky Witness and Sky Atlantic and maybe the odd Sony owned series - Sky Atlantic is airing For All Mankind Seasons 1-3 in Germany for example
