My picture is great, then every so often it goes like a standard definition picture, and it's only through my sky stream box, not through the TV Ariel

What speed is your broadband? Sky stream delivers service via broadband and uses adaptive bit rates.

The aerial port is not active on your sky stream box as is only active in other territories where legally required.

Is that the speed you're supposed to get, or the speed actually measured as being received by the puck?

Run the network check from the get help menu on the Netflix app on the puck (if you haven't already done so) and check it several times to see if the speed is fluctuating. Sky Stream needs as fast and stable a connection as possible.

If that is the case for you broadband speed estimated or receiving at your router, you may experience issues.

Sky recommended available minimum broadband speed is 25Mbps.
Or 30Mbps if you add an extra Sky Stream puck or watch in UHD.

Just to be certain it's not a speed issue at your puck, can you run the following network speed test on your Puck.
Launch Netflix on your pucks (you do not need to be logged into it, if you do not use netflix) and scroll down the left menu to Get help.
Choose Check Network.
Would suggest running the test several times, over say a half hour period during tests.
What is the speed for your puck?

If you are running using wifi, you may be better for a lower speed using an ethernet cable or powerline adapters.

If you do use ethernet, make sure you turn wifi off in the Sky Stream puck settings.

Yes, the speed will fluctuate.

Expect it may do so even more if you have busier times in your household for internet use.

If that is the wifi speed on your Puck, then it should be ok.

But, really even based on Sky minimum speeds for the Sky Stream puck your speeds are around the lower limit to offer the most reliable service for a Sky Stream puck to perform well.

You may have already, but it may be worth looking to see if you can move your broadband to a faster fibre service.

As I mentioned above, maybe better for you to try connecting the puck via an ethernet cable to your router or using powerline adapters.
