I recently cancelled my Sky subscription, which I accessed through Sky Stream pucks. When I first signed up, I had to purchase the pucks and currently have four of them.

At the time of cancelling, I was informed that I would still be able to use the pucks to stream UK terrestrial TV services. Unfortunately, this appears not to be the case. As far as I can tell, the devices are now unusable without an active subscription.

Unless I am missing something, this means the pucks I purchased have effectively been rendered useless.

Could you please advise whether there is a way to access terrestrial channels without a subscription, or alternatively how I can request a refund for the pucks?

As you own the pucks (any prior to Feb 2023 ar customer owned, any ofer are loamed and need to be returned) Sky won;t give a refind for them.

Sky initially sold the pucks between October 2022 and February 2023. During the soft launch of Sky Stream as a standalone product they were sold for as little as £20 each. The pucks were the property of the purchaser, not Sky. On the MySky app it would show that the puck was 'customer owned' until Sky changed to the loan model.

If you do decide to sell them, it would really help to clearly label them as first acquired before 23rd February 2023 because that's the cut-off date for user-owned pucks.
