sn't sound like an interference problem - as you say it's goes off completely i.e. mute. Same as mine - and at random now on any channel or when watching Sky Cinema and then change to a broadcast channel on Sky and suddenly all mute. Only rebooting restores temporarily until the next time this glitch happens. Unfortunately, my puck completely died last week and i'm now expecting a replacement in the next few days. I hope it was a faulty puck responsible for all my issues. Will update if the sound issue has gone once I get it.

My sky puck has started having sound issues. The sound goes off and will only come back on if you change channel, then go back to the original channel you were watching. This happens about 5/6 times each time until it seems to work. It was originally just ITV, but now it's also BBC and other channels. I've tried restarting the puck, but it happens again. Sky chat is not working at the moment. Thanks for any suggestions as to what to do.

@DLakes The Sky puck is very temperamental regarding where it is placed and you may need to experiment with it. As a guideline make sure it is away from the any objects, not on top of anything or touching anything, it needs clear space around it, and on a wooden shelf not glass. Any electronic equipment especially sound bars need to be as far away as practical, and ideally your puck should have a clear line of sight to your router, for instance the router is not behind the sofa like mine was when I first got it and had similar problems. I hope that helps.

Thank you, I'll see how it goes. I don't want to keep having to reboot it. Will try to get on the sky chat if I can too.

Watching tonights EFL game on 401 or 922 every time it goes to adverts sound is muted coming back to the match. The match is in Atmos and the Adverts are played out in DD 2/0.. Have to change channel to get Atmos back. Could be a faulty flag issue?

Using the replacement (V2 puck) and still the same sound issue, plus a NEW bug! Full screen goes grey across the output from the Puck despite what screen, live channel or app is playing. Sound (if the previously described glitch has not taken hold) continues under this grey screen. Interestingly, this full screen grey issue is identical to the one I'm getting on my phone with SkyGo, and when using SkyGo on my MacBook and Xbox ! A universal platform error. Hello sky devs, I know your reading this forum from time to time. Can you comment?
