Run a network check from the get help menu on the Netflix app. This will give you an indication of what it's actually working with. The connection needs to be as consistent and interference-free as possible. Any speed fluctuations can cause the stream to fail.

Sounds like you are possible not getting a stable enough connection in that room, or getting some kind of interference.

Can you as a starter for further help for on here do a network speed test on each of your Pucks.
Launch Netflix on your pucks (you do not need to be logged into it, if you do not use netflix) and scroll down the left menu to Get help.
Choose Check Network.
Would suggest running the test a few times, say a few minutes between tests.
What is your speed?

There is your problem.

The recommended minimum broadband speed required to be available over wifi for the puck is 25Mbps.
Or 30Mbps if you add an extra Sky Stream puck or watch in UHD.

Can you not attach an ethernet cable from the puck to your router or maybe use a set of powerline ethernet adapters?

Would be useful to know what your broadband ISP expected speed is to your house and router and your broadband ISP?

A mesh WiFi system can work very well, but cheaper boosters are rarely good enough to maintain a decent enough signal for Sky Stream. Powerline adapters can work well if your home's internal wiring is in a decent state.

No, wifi boosters are not an ideal solution.

A mesh system may help, but would an expensive route to take if you do not have it already and not just to add for a single Sky Stream puck.

Powerline adapters will work well if you have that speed available at your router.

Some other Superusers on here have good experience of powerline adapters,, I will flag them for you, as it's not really something I have ever used, but do know how they work.

Could you offer some advice on a set of powerline adapters to help here?

I used these for a couple of years and they worked absolutely fine with a Stream puck and later an Android TV box at the other end of my house.

As long as your home's internal electrical wiring is in a decent state then they should work fine. If they don't work for you then it's easy to return them to Amazon.

First only use wall sockets for the adapters. Second assume you will only get around 30% of the rated speed but given the pucks only can use under 50Mb/s speed is not that important.
