I'm getting this now after the last update. Works after a settings restart and using Netflix first, but if I use live TV first then a black screen if I try to open Netflix directly or something via the continue watching rail.

I'm seeing this daily now. Been a problem for weeks.

if a restart the stream (I often just unplug it rather than system restart since settings is a long scroll down) then it seems to work first try. But going back to Netflix a second time and it's a back screen again.

Reset apps seems to fix it temporarily as well. It's getting very annoying, to the point that I've just reverted to the smart tv app for Netflix.

This sounds like a bug in the Netflix app. Since opening another app then going back to Netflix seems to help then that might suggest that the Netflix app is possibly taking up too much / all the memory and is hanging because there is no more memory to give it. When you try to open another app Netflix gets forcefully unloaded to allow the second app to run. Now going back to Netflix it gets re-loaded, but in a fresh state and works.

You might notice that when switching between apps the process is quite quick, but sometimes it takes a few seconds longer to open an app, especially if you have not opened it recently. That is an indiactor that the app got unloaded at some point and is now being re-loaded into memory.

All above is just a guess
