Hi, I had two pucks. Both worked fine on Ethernet.

Try a known good Ethernet cable (prove it good on a laptop)

and a different port on the router.

The puck does not have any LED network status lights (sky haad to save 0.03p)

If these don't work, then it must be the puck.

Hi, have you proved the port on the router is working?
Connect to it with a computer (ensure computer wi-fi is swiched off).

Have you logged into the router, is it showing the Ethernet port active?

I have had stream working with VM, BT and Sky broadband.

@CPG9737

Plugging in an ethernet cable should automatically switch to ethernet.

But, if you only use ethernet, the puck can still switchover to wifi, so make sure in the Puck settings when using ethernet, you turn wifi off.

Do a settings restart after making that change, to make sure it sets correctly.

Is your ethernet cable you are using the Sky puck supplied one or if another it needs to be a 5e ethernet cable or above.
There is no need for anything faster than a 5e or 6 spec ethernet cable.

Is the ethernet cable going direct from the puck to your router or is it going through an unmanaged switch?
Some unmanaged switches have be known to cause issues with Sky devices in the past.

If none of the above solves your issue, let us know and we can escalate to the Sky Community escalation team and get them to work with you on the issue and look to replace the puck if they deem the ethernet port is faulty.

Hi, what happens if you connect a pc to the router?
Ensure wi-fi is turned off on the computer.

Sounds like it is a VM router issue, rather than sky.
Might be best to go to a vm forum.

Have youy logged onto the router and ensured the ip settings are correct?

I found my vm router really configurable, far more so than sky.
Put mine to router only mode, so all ip traffic was handled by my mesh network.
vm router could no longer issue ip addresses.

It is possible to factory reset amy routers, not just reset.

Probably worth finding out how to do this and factory reset your vm router.

Thanks for the reply,

Strange that Samsung TV, Xbox and Apple TV are all connected to the router by ethernet and working, with the Sky Puck using the last available ethernet socket on the router, I have even tried swapping the sockets around but still nothing.
