Can you provide some more information such as who is your ISP? There has been a bug with some routers and sky glass / stream reporting no connection. Waiting a few seconds and pressing the home button should show the home screen.

We have had constant problems since getting our first stream puck, they replaced it and it's just as bad.
plusnet 300 mbps plus fibre, router in modem mode backing into a TP link deco mesh / wired LAN. Stream is wired, nothing else on the LAN has any issues, but the stream constantly loses connection and needs to be restarted.
im at the point of demanding Sky terminate our contract at no penalty and send the piece of **bleep** back
