Joining Questions

I'm thinking about joining Sky Stream but the virtual assistant and is no help at all, so I'll ask my questions here.

1) If you join Sky stream, do you have to get the little box or can I just watch it via my laptop and phone?

2) With Netflix how does that work? Like can I just cancel my Netflix subscription and link my account for services to be applied via Sky?

With Sky Stream you are sent a little black box ( which Sky call a puck) which you connect to a TV. You also get to view via the Sky Go app for mobile devices.

For Netflix, you need to link your Sky and Netflix accounts together by following the steps here: https://www.sky.com/help/sky-apps/tv-apps-on-my-sky-q-box/articles/apps-on-sky-q-and-glass-using-netflix. The linking is what instructions Netflix to stop billing you for that account, and instead Sky handle the billing for that Netflix account.

With the puck and sky go, can my wife and I watch it at the same time on different devices without having to pay more?

as I remember when we had to box we had to pay extra to watch it at same time on different devices and such

@Daniel196 You can watch on the tv via the puck and sky go on a pc laptop mobile device without additional charge

it's when you want more than one tv device that additional charges apply

Hi, sky stream works using a little box they call a puck. It is a bit like a firestick.

Sky will hve to sort out your netfix, as you already have a seperate netflix account.

There is a progrm for a computer called 'sky go' it allows watcching of live-playout television, but cannot be used for catch-up or viewing your playlist (which is similar to recording programmes).

With a sky-linked netflix, you can still log into netflix on any device, telly, pc etc.

Yes you can.

You can access all the channels (content depends on your Sky subscription) that are available on Sky Go.

With Sky Go you can stream live, on demand and catch up content from Sky on your phone, tablet, laptop or computer with the Sky Go app. Watch around your home or while you’re out and about at no extra cost to your TV subscription.

Stream on two devices at the same time and download your favourite shows and movies over WiFi before you leave home to watch offline.

If you do go for the Whole Home monthly subscription, you can stream on four devices at the same time with Sky Go and watch Sky TV on your games console by downloading TV from Sky.

Your Sky Glass TV and any Sky Stream pucks don’t count as one of your Sky Go devices.
