New to sky bb. Trying to add BroadLink rm pro to WiFi. Needed to switch off 5ghz network as it only works with 2.4ghz. Tried in app to switch it off but when ready to switch it back on it won't respond. Toggle switch in app indicates back on but a check with router shows it is off and not even switchable from router (5ghz greyed out). Only solution is to reset router. Sky unable to help.

Has anyone experienced this/ has a solution tothe band switching?

Re the rm pro issue, still not resolved. Tried resetting broadlink, disabling 5 ghz band, lowering security level. Nothing works. Any suggestions?

Rename the frequencies on your Sky broadband router so that you have different WiFi channel names for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. Then connect the Broadlink to the 2.4Ghz WiFi channel and everything else to 5Ghz.
