I have ordered Sky Stream but did not ask the question - wil I be able to record programs as we do with Sky Q?

@JaZee Simple answer is no you can't. If you want watch something at a later time just add to playlist. It will be there to watch via whichever catch up app it's on.

The answer is No. Some programs are recorded to Sky's cloud. This works similar to how local recording is done on Sky Q. However particular broadcasters can prevent this and force you to user their service. E.g. iPlayer, ITVX etc. This means that the playlist acts as a bookmark to that content in this situation.

The other thing that can happen is you add something to playback on one channel but a different service has the rights for on demand playback. E.g you watch a movie on ITV, add to playlist, when you playback it may take you to Disney Plus. This is because of different rights the broadcasters may hold.

It works best if you a) don't watch a lot of live TV and watch on demand and b) have access to all of the subscription services.
