Chicago Med s11 ep4 wrong picture format

Just went to watch the above episode from yesterday on Sky stream and after I skip ads, the picture shrinks with black bars down the side of the tv. It basically looks squashed and is unwatchable in that format.

The ads are in the normal ratio. It's just the episode. Chicago Fire and PD are fine, my tv is playing the normal picture, and live channels are playing as normal, but Med is in the wrong ratio! I cannot watch it like that!

I've reset the stream box and checked my picture settings but everything is normal, nothing has helped. It's just that one episode! What's happened and how can I watch it in the correct format? Thanks

It is likely an issue with the that particular episode rather than any local setting. The best cause of action is to report the issue to Skys viewer relations team. viewerr@sky.uk is their email address. We are fellow customers here on the community.

Wrong format 4.3 showing via Sky Puck

Why is the latest episode of Chicago Med Series 11 Episode 4 only showing in 4.3 format? I have searched online and it should be in 16.9 format and states the issue is with the provider of the content. Can anyone assist please, thank you.

Hi @njs333 I have Chicago Med in my playlist but haven't started watching yet but for some reason issues with the Chicago trio of programmes is fairly common.

I would report the matter to Viewer Relations at viewerR@sky.com who will look into the matter for you.

Hi @cov1 this appears to be a broadcast issue so have a look at the post in this thread and then advice Viewer Relations at viewerR@sky.uk giving them as much information as possible.

It's all fixed for me now.

I did email viewer relations - haven't heard back, but the issue seems to be resolved so hopefully that's the same for everyone else.

What with that and the black screen issue with some of the last series on Chicago PD, I really hope there are no more issues with the Chicago programs 🤞
