    <description>&lt;P&gt;Same here, watching the Lost Symbol via the 5 streaming app when it comes to an add break I fast forward (I have add skipping) and when it comes to the end of the add break it freezes on a black screen. Not every time but it seems to be most times.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Why does my whole sky stream go caput after using the channel 5 app.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Cannot turn off tv with remote or get any channels it just freezes up completely. This keeps happening WHY?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;In the meantime, it would be handy if you are able to tell us if &lt;STRONG&gt;there's a particular advert or area of the app that causes it to freeze&lt;/STRONG&gt;. &lt;STRONG&gt;Please continue to add any examples into the thread&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;To understand the extent of this issue, I've merged some posts into the one thread.       <description>&lt;P&gt;The dorito ad used to cause a problem to 5 app but any adverts seem to cause a blackout now. It has become unwatchable so only use it on terrestrial tv.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sky need to get this sorted or 5 does.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Having the same issue trying to watch The Forsythes and I'm close to giving up now. I've seen the same ad break during episode 4 approx 5 times trying to get it to move past it but just keep getting a blank screen. Only got this far in the series due to perseverance, its done this on every episode but today is worse. Always starts with the Great Western Railyway ad and ends with the next series of Hardacres, most ads start pixelated too.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've rebooted my Sky puck, refreshed all of the apps, removed the show from my playlist.&amp;nbsp; Tried loading it from continue watching and straight from the My5 app.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The Channel 5 app is an &lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;EM&gt;abomination&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt; on all platforms, not just SkyOS.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I no longer tolerate advertising of any kind and therefore now record any Five programmes I want to watch (there are hardly any anyway) from the Freeview tuner in my TV onto a USB flash drive. I can then easily skip through the ads with four quick clicks of a button on the remote which jumps forward one minute. Ad breaks on Five all seem to be exactly 4 minutes long so they are simple to skip.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
