Lets say for example we have to pause something to finish cooking and plate our dinner up, after a few minutes the puc turns itself off. Which is great if you don't plan on carrying on watching it, but 5 minutes is a tad drastic to turn itself off. If we're in the middle of a episode premiere and it turns itself off, especially at 10pm, we'd then have to wait until it's finished to be able to restart the program or wait until the next day. Which is great and all, but that's not even the point. 5 minutes is far too short to be able to some things and to add picking up the remote in between everything is stupid. Just understand that people occasionally have to pause a show for longer than 5 minutes and that it doesn't need to have a nap just because it's been paused for a few minutes. At least add the ability to turn off the eco settings for up to 24 hours before the eco settings turn back on or something that effect, maybe even customisable because 5 or 10 minutes is ridiculously stupid, many thanks.
