When connecting my SKY Puck to my smart TV, do I remove ethernet cable from TV and plug it in to the Puck?

The sky puck ( just like your TV) can be connected to the internet via an ethernet cable or via Wifi.

If you just removed the ethernet cable from your TV, then unless you setup your TV to use Wifi that wouldn't be able to connect to the internet so you wouldn't be able to use any apps directly from your TV.

Your router should have more than one ethernet connection, so you could connect both TV and Puck if you wish.

Thanks very much for your answer, indeed I do have spare ports on my router that I can use to connect both my smart TV and my SKY Puck (when it arrives).
