Settle a disagreement.
When sky stream arrives (brand new from sky) does it include an ethernet cable?

No ethernet. Remote, Sky Stream box, HDMI and power cables.

No: they'd be understandably reluctant to ship that by default when the vast majority of customers aren't going to use it.

@TimmyBGood I don't have Sky Stream, but I guess I will have to one day. I'm curious, why do you say " ...the vast majority of customers aren't going to use it. "? I have always used Ethernet & figured I would still do so when I get Sky Stream. Is there some sort of disadvantage in using it?

Just because it's primarily marketed as a wireless device and, to be honest, most people are unaware that ethernet is a thing.
