I have the following which has been installed quite recently :-

TV - LG-OLED55G54LW - 55"

HDMI 1 - SKY PUCK

HDMI 2 - SONOS ULTRA SOUNDBAR

HDMI 3 - PANASONIC 4K BLU RAY -DPUB9000EB1

HDMI 4 - HUMAX-4K-AURA-2TB FREEVIEW PLAYER/RECORDER

The TV is hard wired to a SKY router.

Having this kit installed amounted, in my eyes, to a long outstanding much needed investment in up to date quality hardware and signing up to TV packages we had lived without for far too long. Not that it is particualrly relevant but recent years have brought some challenging life issues and so now was the time to go for it.

Absloutely delighted with picture quality. options for viewing, etc, etc.

With all that my query feels a bit picky/choosy - whatever the right terms might be. Which is :-

At the moment when we first switch the TV on (using either the LG or SKY remote) it opens with the LGTV home screen. My question is - is there any way to adjust settings so that first switch on immediately takes us to the SKY home screen? It is the source of the majority of TV that we currently watch.

Not a life changer but would be interested to learn if/how it is possible to make any sort of relevant adjustment to settings.

Many thanks for any help.

You need to go here on your LG TV.

From the LG Home menu.

Go to Settings button

General

System

Advanced Settings

Home settings

Power on Screen

Choose the recent input option, not Home.
