There have been a few customers on here back sometime that had a similar issue.

For them it was mainly moving from one Tv area to another and the account not reflecting that, with some kind of postcode error on their account.

Noticed you have mentioned that your post code looks correct in MySky account details.

Your best ploy for this is to call Sky and work through with them to check your account details are reflected correctly.

I moved to Sky a little while ago from another well-known supplier however, since moving I have lost local Meridian news and it has defaulted to London but I live in Bracknell.

I have reset the box, checked my postcode on my account, which begins RG and still no change.

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Thank you ☺️

I've tried to post on this topic a few times yesterday, but the posts disappeared, possibly because of links I included, but I'll try again, this time without linking to ITV's maps.

Per ITV, Bracknell is in the ITV London area [right on the border] not in the Meridan area.

Sky tend to be more exact than other providers in this, for example my parents were in sight of the Anglia region's Sandy Heath transmitter, but Virgin Media had London as 103 [they had Anglia near the end of the channel list]. Where I live is in the London area, but EE / BT give a choice on set up between the Anglia and London regions. Those two providers tend to have macro regions that aren't exact whereas Sky tends to follow the exact instructions from ITV.

There won't be a solution from Sky, but if there is to be one it will need to come via ITV changing their mapping.
