I find the playlist takes care of 100% of my watching. I do have a netgem freeview box connected that I've set to record a load of films off film 4 should the internet go down........ I've not watched any yet !

Anyone out there using a Freeview PVR, e.g. Humax Aura to watch normal live TV/record/pause tv etc... and then also running Sky stream for all other Apps? I'm looking to renew my deals and Sky's offer of Stream plus Broadband for £35 looks OK, as even just Broadband deals alone are about £30 - 35 ish... (I've noted Vodaphone Broadband and phone is £35 p/m) so in a way the Stream is not costing me any "extra". It's either this or thinking about leaving Sky TV altogether and just having a Freeview pvr that can stream some apps and get other via my TV (not yet bought a smart TV as my older one is still working fine). So just working out options... I still use a Sky+ HD box, and mainly use it for it's PVR functions....

Interested to hear other's thoughts.. 😊

@KTSK

I have a USB flash drive in my TV and use it to record & live pause the little free-to-air TV we watch. The TV's own apps or my Firestick 4K Max or Apple TV 4K box give us all the streaming apps we need and we can add/delete any we want or don't want. We found Sky Stream to be too restrictI've, not having an App Store, so you're stuck with only the apps Sky give you access to.
If you watch a lot of live TV and sport then Stream is worth considering but everything else you can easily get elsewhere.
