We recently bought a sky stream device. It came in today we plugged it in. It asked for the basic stuff like do u want sky remote to control to volume etc and after all that it said linking to your account. It didn’t ask us for any email address or anything just said that. It then said failed to link and we click retry. This cycle went on twice before we clicked set up later. Then it said ok and the next screen just said Sorry because of technical issues we will fix this that blah blah. We turned the puck on off and clicked home button etc but still the same. we tried to force reset it and now it’s stuck on updating. Please someone help. The customer service is also not responding 😭

Hi and welcome to the Community, this can happen sometimes if the WiFi isn't perfect, the way to get around this is to power down the sky stream device and unplug it, leave it for ten minutes, and before plugging it back in connect the stream box directly to the router by Ethernet,

Admitably this may not be an ideal way to initially set up, but once it's gone through the set up procedure, you can do away with the Ethernet cable and revert back to using wi-fi again, be sure to go in to settings and select wi-fi

hope this helps
