Sky Puck Remote Navigation Button Not Working as Expected

I've had SkyQ for many years and have just changed over to Sky Stream and the new remote.

The new remote all seems to be working fine except the navigation button. If you press left, right, up or down you get a click but nothing happens. If you press hard and hold then they work. Is there a setting for this such as how long you press for or is there an issue with my new remote. Others have said how much they like the navigation circle so I'm thinking I'm missing something.

TIA

Thank you for your feeback. I did the remote pairing again and that went fine but no change to the round button I'm afraid.

It's possible that the button is slow to respond when pressed, so for example if I scroll across the screen with > > > it can miss one of the clicks and I have to do it again.

I'm new to this remote and this may be it's normal operation and I just need to take my time.

Something wrong with the remote or maybe the puck thing is out of view of the remotes ir? Just a guess, but no I definitely don't have to press hard for the remote to work.

Definitely not how it's supposed to work based on my experience

I'm having the same issue. Came back to Sky stream yesterday after previous stints with it over the last 3 or so years and while I know the UI can be sluggish this is different. When navigating let's say I want to go to the fifth poster on a row. I sometimes need to press the right arrow about 8 times to compensate for unhandled presses.

I doubt it's the remote hardware as I swapped it out for other remotes and the same thing. They are all missing key presses quite frequently. It's likely a server side issue as every command is on a round trip to sky servers. It's a diabolically daft design. Sonos got heavily slated for doing the same thing.

im not going to be one of those people that gaslight you about your internet connection. It's not that. This is something for Sky to address.
