topic Playlist in Sky Stream

I've added Educating Yorkshire and the Bake Off to my playlist - both on channel 4. Why is it that I could skip adverts on Educating Yorkshire but not Bake Off? Have I done it wrong?

years ago when we had Sky you could record but can't work that out on the new puck

Sky stream doest record locally. Do you have ad skipping? Was this playback via the sky interface or channel 4 app?

I have add skipping and pressed the plus from the tv guide rather than the 4 app

When you press play, are you taken to the Channel 4 app to view? In that case ad skip only works by pressing and holding the right "circle" around the action button. This will fast forward through the ad break.
