Stream restarting on its own

My sky tv turns itself off after 10 minutes of being paused and restarts out of nowhere. I've had it for a couple of months, it's only started doing this in the past few days. Usually I can only pause for 30 mins and then it starts playing which isn't an issue really, but it's started restarting itself after 10 minutes on pause and it's annoying. Can anyone help please?

@RachelHardy Hi Rachel, your post surprises me because with Sky Stream no one should be able to pause for more than 10 minutes. It has been discussed on here many times and is very frustrating. So how have you managed what no one else can? The only thing I can think of is that my moving your remote just slightly gives you another 10 minutes so I am just wondering if previously you have unknowingly moved the remote by maybe just touching it to accidently knocking it?

I cannot think of another explanation.
