topic Sky puck issues in Sky Stream

I'm pretty sure my puck is faulty. I've had Sky Stream for a week and it is crashing continually. I originally linked using WiFi and have now switched to an ethernet cable ( and switched WiFi off. I've done 2 full factory resets. Seriously thinking of cancelling while under cool off period if I can't get this sorted.

Run a network check from the get help menu on the Netflix app.

If you've got ethernet connected then it should max out at about 90Mbps as the port is capped at 100Mbps.

I've got a 300mps package so surely the speed is not the problem - I've tried both broadband and ethernet and crashes when I am just scrolling down the homepage.

Give Sky a ring for further troubleshooting and they'll send out a replacement puck. Hopefully that one might work better, or you might get connected to a better Sky server. It seems to be that some servers are more congested than others and cause issues for some customers. It's the downside of SkyOS being a server-based operating system - it requires a constant, very stable, connection in order to maintain functionality.
