Freeview channels on stream?

The area I live in hasn't got very good TV reception so I was wondering if the Sky stream would be the perfect answer as I have very good internet connection. What I would like to know is can you get ALL Freeview channels on it and if you can't what channels can't you get.

'Freeview' is digital terrestrial television broadcast from masts.

Stream uses broadband data: its EPG includes many but not all of the 'free to air' channels as part of the service which the Sky subscription covers.

The 'missing' channel which gets mentioned most frequently is Talking Pictures TV.

Sky Essential TV on a Stream puck is about £15pm and it does come with the bonus of Sky Atlantic, Discovery+ and Netflix Standard (with ads) but if you don't need them and only want free-to-air channels and don't want to be paying a monthly fee, then you may be better off waiting for the Freely streaming box, coming later this year.

Hi @BenJoBanjo thanks for the interesting link. I had been thinking of a Freely TV for the bedroom as I don't need Sky in that location and already Ethernet cables build it. I wasn't aware of the forthcoming puck so maybe I need a rethink.

No problem. There may be more than one option available as the BBC are also apparently investigating their own streaming device...

This could cause a lot of problems for Sky in the future especially if they start including apps like Netflix and others.
