Build Version QS037.041.00P

I've just noticed this morning that my Sky Stream has updated from QS036.021.00P to QS037.041.00P. Anyone know what's new in the update? I'm not seeing anything obvious.

I have five Sky Stream Pucks, only one of them seems to have updated.

@Barry+Mc+Kelvey Is the one that updated a new gen2 puck?

Any updates tend to also be done in batches so wouldn't be suprised that only one has updated

I upgraded to Sky Stream in approximately May 2025, I'd presume it's a Gen 2 Sky Stream Puck. Is there a way that I can check?

Ive got the same update. Its made scrolling around the Home Screen extremely sluggish. Sky what have you done! 😫

Totally agree, I've noticed the same 😞 A Restart temporarily fixes, but it's not ideal 😞

Sky Glass and Sky Stream distribute updates in a manner of ways.

Do not take the build version as any main guide level.

The UI version is seen as the more regular, along with Platform builds.

Also, as across Sky, updates are delivered to customers in phased delivery schedules over roughly a month period, so some may be on different versions.

What UI version do you guys with the issue have?

I have an issue with UI Version: 2.50.5.

Scrolling through the Home Screen is laggy. A Restart temporarily fixes the issue. I've completed a full Power Cycle, no lag at the moment, but I'll keep an eye on it and report back.

Settings>System Management>System Info. Scroll down, is the sixth one in the list.

2.50.5 is a recent UI version update that customers may probably have now.

Can you try the following

Reboot your broadband router that your Sky Puck is using.

Then, once up, do a Sky Puck settings restart;

Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete.

Once, your Puck is up and running, leave on a live channel for around half hour, before moving around the menus.

Does that improve your lag?

Power cycling the box seems to have fixed the sluggish response of the Home Screen.

Also seeing the lag building up in the 37 version - ok after a restart, then gets slower -
Maybe some kind of memory leak - obviously QC did a lot of testing before sling this over the wall

I get the bit about rebooting the router/restarting the Sky Stream Puck. How does watching Live TV for approximately 30 minutes also help?

I've done as you'd suggested. I'll report any changes, if the lag returns.
