Just ordered sky ultimate with Netflix but already have a Netflix account do I need to cancel direct debit with Netflix

No, when you link your Netflix account to your Sky account, Netflix effectively change your billing method to be through Sky. You will then keep all your watchlists, viewing history, etc.

@RussSmith38 , when you set up your Sky Stream puck, follow these instructions (https://www.sky.com/help/articles/apps-on-sky-q-and-glass-using-netflix) to link Netflix with your Sky account. This will update your Netflix account and tell Netflix that Sky is handling the billing for it, and Netflix will stop charging you.
