TV Guide issue

When in the TV guide I used to be able to hold the left side of the controller to bring up the categories, and hold the right for the days of the week. Now holding left or right is the same bringing up the day of the week selection. To change categories I have to exit the guide and go back in.

Is this a glitch as a result of a recent update - or am I missing something?

Hitting left key multiple times from within the tv guide takes me back to tv guide category menu.

Hold the right of left ( when on a future day) remote key down for a second or so, that gets the next 24hours and day selection.

Anywhere in the tv guide, just say tv guide into the remote and it brings up the tv guide categories, save panning multiple times left.

@Gordon461 I'm not sure if I'm missing something but when you go onto the box that says TV Box, View all, just press the centre button and all the categories appear!

@Stephen+Mourton thanks for your reply. You are correct that the categories come up when opening the guide - but my question was if already browsing the TV guide then want to select a particular category without going out and back in again.

@lettice thanks very much, I tried what you said and the categories came up! I felt sure I was able to hold the left rather than repeatedly pressing left, but I can't be certain now. Anyhow at least I know how to do it now , thanks.
