Sky puck high contrast issue

My two pucks four days ago reverted to the blue Home Screen. I have high contrast on. For black screen. However, now every morning turn pucks on and screen has returned to blue.
also instead of settings being at bottom. There are loads of tv shows and movies underneath.

Hi @Scooter071

a recent update added the extra rails below settings - and there are lots of extra rails !!

it maybe worth turning the accessibility background on , then going through restart cycle via - settings - restart

hopefully this will force the puck to save the accessibility setting

Same problem here. Following latest update, the high contrast setting does not "survive" a restart. This is driving me mad! Sky please fix this bug immediately...

Same here, 4 pucks in the one I watch in the main living room keeps going back to the normal blue and not holding the contrast toggle 😞

Also the same problem since updating - the standard blue is brutal on my eyes and I'm having to change it on every single start up...

I have raised as an issue in the superuser forum

I've tried to replicate it on my gen 2 sky glass but so far it's remembered the setting. Does it take a few hours to switch back or is it an overnight issue ?

Sky stream pucks are resetting high contrast option every night. Last week this appeared to have been fixed, and the original thread was closed, but it is now happening again.

Can somebody at Sky please respond? This has been going on for weeks now. I am having to reset 3 pucks back to high contrast every day. The default blue background is headache inducing and if it wasn't so fiddly to change anything through settings I believe more people would be complaining. Also, high contrast is an "accessibility" setting. In other words it is supposed to help people who have eyesight issues, yet the people at Sky don't appear to care sufficiently about those customers.

To add, I now have the high contrast setting being turned off overnight. It'll retain during the day but I am having to turn it on every day.

Previous fix has stopped working.

I have 5 Puks but this only happens daily in 2, all my tv are Samsung and all have the same settings. I shut down the Puks the same way and have the power save settings all turned off?

High Contrast keeps resetting

Hello,

I have had the high contrast option set on both my sky stream and sky glass for over a year. For the past month, almost every morning that I turn on the sky stream it has been in the default setting without high-contrast, my sky glass has stayed on high contrast. I can't remember a time prior to the last month that it has changed, but now almost every morning i have to reset it to high contrast. Also, it seems to stay on high contrast during the entire day even if the tv is turned off and back on, but the following morning it has reverted from high contrast again. Any suggestions to get it to stay in high contrast as it did before?
