I have had Sky Stream for over 20 months now and really happy with it.

I'm now looking to have it in my bedroom, which I understand I will need to sign-up to Sky Whole Home.

I have a few questions which hopefully people on here can help me with...

1. Is Sky Whole Home easy to set-up?

Is it simply a case of plugging the new puck into the back of the bedroom Smart TV using a HDMI cable and entering the home broadband and Sky account details (username/passwords)?

2. Does one of the pucks in the house (e.g. living room puck), have to be configured as the primary puck?
I'm sure I read that somewhere but can't find note of it now.

3. Do all the Playlists/ Recently watched etc I currently have set-up on my living room puck automatically transfer over to the new puck in the bedroom?

4. I also read somewhere that you can pause a programme in one room and then continue watching in another room. How does that work?

Whole Home is just an additional pack you add to your subscription, with this if you order another Sky Stream puck it will then allow you to complete the activation and setup of the puck. If you didn't have Whole Home, the second puck wouldn't be able to activate against your account, so you wouldn't be able to complete the initial setup. By default, the first puck you registered on your account would be deemed the primary device.

Playlists and the continue watching rail do sync between the pucks. So if you stopped watching a show part way through on one puck and wanted to continue it on another you just resume it from the continue watching rail.

I assume if I do signup for Sky Whole Home they will automatically send me the first addition puck and remote control?

Also, does the additional puck come pre-installed with my Sky account, or do I need to log into it with my username and password?

I can't remember if I did that when first signing up to Sky Stream 20-odd months ago.
