Samsung TV compatability

I have a Samsung model UE49KS7002U. I've connected it to the puck and I can use sky but I can't use the sky remote for turning on and off or volume. Also if I go into any apps I can't control. Anyone know if this is solvable or am I looking at having to buy a new TV?

Hi @Ready196 Try pairing the remote again .Press 7&9 for 3 seconds and the press 1&3 for 3 seconds and follow the instructions. When you select the "Control your TV" follow the options until one works your volume. When using the remote to turn off your TV you have to give the power button a long press of about 3 seconds.

I have a Samsung S90C and have no problems with the remote controlling the TV.

Yes. I managed to connect the TV to my WiFi and downloaded latest software. Then unpaired and paired sky remote and now working perfectly. Many thanks

om inital set up it picked up the remote aftr inputting the model number of my TV after a couple of days had to do a reset of the puck and then for some reason has to reset the remote however this time it would not find my model number and I kept getting the TV is not compatable with the remote. yo will have to use the TV remote to control the volume

In the end I tried a different model number from my TV it then worked first time for the remote
