ITVX app will not load beyond splash screen

I know there have been posts on here before about similar issues, but there doesn't appear to be any solution.

Current situ: loading the ITVX app fails to move beyond initial splash with logo.

I have reset apps, soft and hard resets of the puck and no joy. The code to reset the ITV app is not accepted on the splash - I gather you need to enter on the initial menu, which I never get to. Regularly use BBC, Netflix, Prime, Apple, YouTube apps without issue. ITVX hasn't worked for months.

I've had Stream for a year, and app worked initially. ITVX was always a little unreliable and occasionally failed to stream, and then occasionally left the whole Stream in a broken state needing a power pull.

Any ideas?
