Play list not recording programme although saying it does

I tried to record Jeremy Vine mornings and usually it had been fine but recently although it is programmed to record, nothing happens and it's still ticked to say series added but it doesn't record anything.

I have turned the TV on and off there's no results. Does anybody have any ideas what the issue is with this?

@Kim+aplin I just tried to add Jeremy Vines show to my Playlist without problem. Do you have just the one Playlist, or if more has it 'recorded' in there instead? Alternatively have you gone into Settings then System management and done a Reset? This can take a few minutes. I hope that helps.

Try removing the show from your playlist then adding it again via the tv guide

Thanks I've tried that but it won't record if I've got the TV on so I have to turn it off in order for it to record which is hit and miss. If I don't turn it off in time and leave it on for five minutes after the program starts it won't record anything
