I have just purchased sky ultimate and have had to subscribe to disney plus and discovery plus I thought they were part of the package

You still have to subscribe - see the help here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-marketplace-subscribe-to-apps

If Discovery+ is part of your Sky viewing package, you'll be able to subscribe for £0.

Disney+ is not part of a Sky package.

Also worth mentioning the included Discovery + is the Basic tier and doesn't include sports content. The sports tier is only included as part of a TNT Sports subscription.
