BBC iPlayer not loading

Hi. I frequently find the BBC iPlayer app will not load properly through Sky Stream. I click on it and can usually sign in then I often get a blank screen rather than the menu or the program I am trying to watch loading. Sometimes I can't get as far as logging in. I've tried refreshing the apps on my puck but they it doesn't help. I can always get iPlayer through my TV app when this happens so I don't think it's an iPlayer issue. Any ideas? Thank you.

Next time it happens try pulling the plug on the puck from the wall for a few minutes. Check this clears the issue

If not once you get in to iplayer try signing out of iplayer than reastarting your puck. Once retsarted try signing back in

@KenT2 Also try going to Settings, then System management and chose Refresh apps which will take a few minutes and see if that helps.

Can you check that you have the iPlayer beta turned off in BBC iPlayer settings.

We have seen a few cases where this has caused issues of late.

Or if you like to use iPlayer beta, toggle it off and on in the settings, this has known to refresh it.

Also, even if you do not usually use it in beta mode, toggle it on and off and it can refresh the latest version.

Thank you. I've tried disconnecting the plug on the puck and then powered it back up and iPlayer has come on. If it fails again I'll try the logging out as suggested.
