Yes, you can do that.

I am getting seriously frustrated with the sky stream puck which is my multiroom option, I am finding myself having to unplug it and plug it back in daily now.

Puck is always left in standby mode and have previously altered the settings to keep it connected to the internet etc.

Most of the time when I switch it on, all you get is a blue screen with please wait, if you get any programe to work it will work for a couple of minutes then cut to a black screen with the message 'please wait your programme is loading'

Other than that you get you are not connected to the internet and let's get you connected, when in that screen it regonises my WiFi connection and it's connected but still nothing works.

It's getting really frustrating when you are paying for a service that clearly is un reliable.

I have done internet speed tests through Netflix and get speeds of 130mbps+, my router is only at the bottom of the stairs and this Puck is in my bedroom.

I have no issues with the Glass TV downstairs. My internet speeds are 160mbps.

I am not really sure what to do now, the only resolve or short term solution is to unplug and plug it back in which fixes it but why should I have to do that all the time. Have considered running an Ethernet cable down the stairs to see if I could get a more stable connection.

Any help would be appreciated

What speed is being reported?

131mbps, we only watch it in the evenings, but it seems whenever we switch it on daily we get these issues, I've had to go into internet connection tonight and do a reset and that seems to of solved it tonight.

Had to enter the WiFi password again, we had the multiroom option when we had Sky Q and it was a different box, never had these issues then.

Settings --> Startup and standby, network stanby mode is on and overnight power saving is off.

Once you set this restart the pouck.

I agree with @GD1 it sounds like Ethernet is the best way to go for your puck. The easiest way to connect it to your router would be via power line adapters (which you can pick up for £30-£40).
